Laura Mordaunt graduated from San Jose State University in 1973 with a BA in mathematics. She received a teaching credential in 1974, and after teaching for one year, she was hired by Lockheed Corporation and worked for 14 years as a systems engineer on the Triton Missile Program. Her son Brandon was born in 1982. Laura fell ill with chronic fatigue syndrome and was not able to work between 1989 and 1994. After regaining her health, she began teaching junior high school in Fremont, CA. Laura is an animated ins-tructor whose life experiences inspire and motivate her students. Nancy Mitchell graduated from the University of Colorado in 1968 and was hired by Pan American World Airways as a flight attendant. After ten years of flying around the world, she left her career to become a homemaker and stepmother. In 1982, her daughter Jennifer was born. Nancy is a sports enthusiast who likes tennis, hiking and swimming. At age 49, she took up martial arts and holds a purple belt in tae kwon do and an orange belt in krav maga. Nancy believes we all have the ability to lose weight and regain our health through the choices we make. She is the author of the young adult trilogy Earth Rising, Raging Skies, and Global Warning.
