EARTH RISING: Part One: ON TREACHEROUS GROUND October, 2017. Life is fairly ordinary at Foothill High School in Fremont, California, and Jenny Powers is an ordinary student---until she finds something extra ordinary in her locker that could spell trouble with the law. But before she can ask her locker-mate about it, disaster strikes. A strong earthquake hits the Bay Area! As the ground shakes uncontrollably, students rush into the parking lot and athletic fields. Worried about her friends who went off-campus for lunch, Jenny breaks the rules and leaves school, intending to find them. What she discovers is frightening- -the freeway underpass has collapsed, trapping people underneath! As the students seek to rescue the victims and deal with their own problems, they are unwittingly becoming entangled in a conspiracy that reaches far beyond their school boundaries.
	EARTH RISING: Part Two: DEEP WATERS March, 2018. Foothill students are coping quite well after two big earthquakes. Portable classrooms have replaced damaged buildings. Fierce winter rains, though, have demolished the unpaved student parking lot and have made changing classes a real adventure. One day, however, the rain just won't stop and the campus becomes inundated with water, mud and debris. Students are let out of school at noon, and as the afternoon progresses, people driving home from work are stranded in their cars. The people of Jenny's neighborhood open their homes to the unfortunate motorists. Some of these visitors, however, are very uncomfortable with the situation, and the students' curiosity is piqued. A visit the next day by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation further deepens the mystery. Although they don't realize it, the students are on a collision course with international terrorists!
RAGING SKIES: Part One: LEGACY OF FIRE September, 2018. Changes have come to Foothill High School in Fremont, California. The parking lot has been paved, the buildings have been cleaned and painted, and there is a new health clinic on campus. Despite the physical improvements, Jenny Powers is worried. Her friend Amelia has told her that she is HIV positive. Personal problems are forgotten, however, when the extinct volcano 50 miles north of Fremont, Mt. Diablo, erupts and sends clouds of steam, gas and ash into the air and lava down its sides. The clinic gives out masks to faculty and students to use if breathing becomes difficult. In an enthusiastic spirit of competition, students gather supplies for families whose homes were destroyed by the eruption. But behind the scenes, powerful human forces are preparing to unleash their own explosion upon the earth.
	RAGING SKIES: Part Two: FLUID STATES February, 2019. In rainy Fremont, Foothill administrators are dealing with tremendous physical and psychological problems caused by overcrowding. Meanwhile, Jenny and her parents are busy welcoming a family with two teenagers to the neighborhood. Change is in the air! Change is also appearing elsewhere. Beneath the Calaveras Reservoir, which holds much of the region's water supply, runs the Calaveras Fault. As a mild earthquake hits the area, the reservoir's earthen dam begins to erode, sending millions of gallons of water roaring downstream into Alameda Creek which leads to the San Francisco Bay. Caught in the path of the flood are most of the residents of Fremont, Newark and Union City, including Jenny and her friend Lisa. Safety is a paramount concern as the two girls, separated from their parents, watch the rising waters. And in the mountains, the work of terrorists is about to take an unexpected turn.
GLOBAL WARNING: Part One: SURVIVAL INSTINCT September, 2019. Foothill High School students are back in school, which is looking good with its upgraded kitchen and new Media Center. Jenny Powers and her friends---seniors at last---feel pretty cool! But the calm is shattered as an earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter Scale off the coast of Alaska sends a tidal wave alert to all countries on the Pacific Rim. The cities inside the San Francisco Bay prepare to deal with a wave estimated to reach ten feet high. Realizing that their school will escape the flooding, the students begin preparing to feed and house refugees flocking to higher ground. At the same time, Jenny's friend Armin and his family must deal with the American government which is planning to send them back to Iraq. Like Mother Nature, the government does whatever it wants to, and saving your life suddenly becomes a very high priority!
	GLOBAL WARNING: Part Two: ILLUSION OF SAFETY May, 2020. The Foothill campus is preparing for a special visit by Chinese President Chiang and U.S. President McConnell. Ties between the U.S. And China are expected to be strengthened during Mr. Chiang's visit, and Secret Service agents have been busy familiarizing themselves with the campus. When the big day arrives, the students are excited but the security team is not. Something is definitely amiss. Jenny's father John and Secret Service agents begin searching for something on campus that could be dangerous to the two world leaders and their entourage, destroying all hopes of peace and cooperation between the two countries. With lives hanging in the balance, Jenny and her friend Ricardo help search for the danger. Success depends on observation, teamwork and trust. As the crisis passes, Ricardo, Jenny and John are sworn to secrecy. The members of the Powers family, realizing that things are not always what they seem to be, know that their sense of security has been forever altered.
